Daddy, Can I help?

Was in Starbucks doing some work and saw this man arranging the coffee powder package on the shelf.  To make it look presentable, this man is tapping the package at the 4 sides to make it look squarish and firm.  Than I saw a little boy was next to the man, also trying the same thing the man did on a chair (because he can't reach the height).  It was very touching scene, I should have take out my phone to snap a photo.  It reminds of my passion that I use to have,  to help "Daddy" in work.  This daddy is doing some great work, he is always looking forward for his children to come back to his present.  As his child, may be at first I don't know what is he doing and why is he doing such a thing but I was trying to imitate and want to help.  "Daddy, can I help?"

How much more He loves you

Today we had our Easter Sunrise service in BU central park.  It was a great time, we worshiped, fellowship, "fei-low-ship", play games, have funs...

One thing I remember the most and caught me is Caelynn.  She is so cute and keep walking around and look for dogs.  When she reach certain place where the steps are harder.  She will reach out her hand and grab your finger to get supports.  And she is so adventures and keep wanting to touch the dogs and even putting her hand so close to the dog's mouth.

I was following her and make sure I'm there to let her grab my finger whenever she needs the supports.  I felt I love her so much that I wouldn't want her to fall down and gave her support whenever she needed.  I was so worried that she will be bitten by the dogs as she go on her adventures trying to touch the dogs.  Yet I was just following, letting her chose where she wants to go and let her wander around.  I don't want to decide for her where she is going.

Suddenly God just strike me with this thought.  Even though you know who to love a children who not even have a blood relationship with you.  How much more I love because I'm your heavenly Father.  Even though you know who to reach out your fingers to gave Caelynn support.  How much more your heavenly Father will response to you when you call upon Him.  That He will always be there to watch over me, protect and make sure I'm safe.  Yet He gave me the choice of free will, not forcing His thoughts and decisions into me but letting me have the freedom on this adventures search for my purpose of life.  In Matthew 7:9-11 it says:

9"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

It strike me deep into my thoughts.  Lately I was having like this huge hiccup at my work and financial.  I thought I really can't get through this time and He is not even there to help me, that He don't care for me anymore.  That He is going to leave me to solve this problems myself.  Although the problems didn't just solved by itself overnight but I've manage to go through it.  It's by His grace, He led me through and He is always there to watch over us.  The reason is He loves us and He is love.  Amen.

The Imaginarium Of Dr Parnassus, Choices

Just watch this show last Sunday evening.  It's a very different show.  It doesn't focus on the guy-girl lovey dovey relationship, not on the action, not on the graphics.

But it's like what someone said, it does have some values behind the story line.  Like I always like to say, this movie causes me to think.  One of the thing that caught me the most is "Choices".

In life, we have to face choice everyday, all the time.  To snooze or wake up, to eat nice food or eat healthy, to please God or to please self.

In the movie, when even a person went into the world of Imaginarium.  They will have to make up their mind and chose.  The choices or either from the monk, which is Dr. Parnassus (the good choices) or from the devil (the bad choices).  And every time the choices is present.  The good one seems to be harder and the bad seems so easy and accessible right there and then.

For example in the very beginning, there is a drunk guy went into it.  He was lifted up high in the sky and he swear that he is going to stop drinking.  When he is put in front of the choice, one side the the tall steps where it leads you to the good side and the other one, a pub that right next to him.  Easy to access and offer what he likes the most.

To chose the right one, means that you have to be sweat and tired to climb up the stairs where to chose the I think supposedly is wrong, it's so easy.. you just need to walk in.

God created us and gave us freewill, to pick our own choice.  He know what is the right choice for us but he never force us into it.  To me, it seems most of the time the right choices are harder.  With our own strength and own will, I guess is easier to chose the "bad" choice.  But God send His helper, the Holy Spirit.  To guide us and lead us to the right choices, Him.

I like the last part of the movie also, where Dr. Parnassus him self came before choices and he just kneel down and said, "It's enough.  I don't want to chose anymore".  Is like when we totally surrender to God.  We don't have to worry so much of choices as He will guide us and lead us to the right path.
